There are things worth spending time and money on and there are things that are not! Across the board, there are improvement projects that will help you sell, but will you get your money back? Timing is important & your goals must be considered. The location of your home is also a factor. If you are planning on selling in 30-90 days, DO paint (the interior, & exterior if there is old or peeling paint), update lighting, replace worn carpet. DON'T do any big remodeling project, add a deck, replace windows (unless it's broken).
